Voters could get the chance this November to uphold or change their position on a countywide ambulance transportation fee. The Montgomery County council voted 6-3 Tuesday to approve another bill creating a program for insurance reimbursement of ambulance rides.

LifeTeam, an air medical transport company founded in Kansas, chose Central Nebraska Regional Airport as its newest base in a move to expand its services through Nebraska. A Bell 206 LongRanger helicopter will service an area in a 90-mile radius of Grand Island.
