ABU DHABI— An Etihad passenger flight from Abu Dhabi to Moscow had to make an emergency landing at a central Russian airport close to the Black Sea for “operational reasons”.

An Air India flight from Kerala to Sharjah made an emergency landing immediately after take-off on Thursday because of a mechanical issue, according to news reports.
