Wednesday May 23, 2012 Transcript Staff North County saw three motorists transported to North Adams Regional Hospital on Tuesday, after accidents on Howland Avenue in Adams and the Mohawk Trail in Florida. In Adams at around 5 p.m., a northbound 2011 Dodge Dakota pickup truck felled a utility pole on Howland Avenue near the Goodwill store.

Vital medications needed to save lives in the back of an ambulance are in short supply. A nationwide drug shortage is impacting paramedics in Southwest Florida.

The ambulance driver charged in the fatal crash that killed a Lynchburg man last week is still employed by Campbell County, officials said.
