Wednesday May 23, 2012 Transcript Staff North County saw three motorists transported to North Adams Regional Hospital on Tuesday, after accidents on Howland Avenue in Adams and the Mohawk Trail in Florida. In Adams at around 5 p.m., a northbound 2011 Dodge Dakota pickup truck felled a utility pole on Howland Avenue near the Goodwill store.

The ambulance that collided with a pickup truck in the intersection of Campbell and Florida avenues did not have its emergency lights and siren on, police said.

The ambulance driver charged in the fatal crash that killed aLynchburgman last week is still employed by Campbell County, officials said.
