Business conditions have prompted air-ambulance provider Air Methods to disband its LifeNet helicopter crew based in Tallahassee, effective Jan. 30.

FIREFIGHTERS from Tavistock lifted a man from Lydford Gorge on Christmas Eve, after he fell out of a tree. Two crews from Tavistock attended the scene at about 1pm after an ambulance crew requested help in lifting the casualty out of the difficult location into the air ambulance.

A team of paramedics got a shock early this morning when they walked out of an emergency room in Prince George's County to find their ambulance missing.
