Newly formed Campus EMS Auxiliary is looking to start a student-run EMS service on campus. An Ohio State program that was at one time eliminated due to budget cuts might soon be resuscitated.

The day after the doors closed on Scott County's only emergency health care facility, EMS and local doctors are working to fill the void left by Scott County's Hospital.

“After reviewing the situation with the recent opening of responses to the county’s Request For Proposals (RFP) for the West Jackson EMS station, I am recommending to the board of commissioners that all the responses to the RFP be rejected and the project be put out for proposals again,” Poe said.
