Ottumwa Regional Health Center and the community came together Friday afternoon to say thank you to EMS personnel and other first responders for their dedication and hard work as part of EMS appreciation week.

EMS workers were recognized for their hard work today with a crawfish boil in Monroe.

Some local first responders wrapped up National EMS Week with a very special reunion. The Lehigh Valley Health Network hosted a barbecue at its Cedar Crest campus on Friday to reunite a young boy with the EMS workers who helped save his life.
