A representative for Honesdale EMS asked Texas Township Supervisors to consider increasing their financial contribution, which will help alleviate the ambulance service provider’s pinched budget.

The Springfield Fire Department has completed a 90-day review of the effectiveness of the changes instituted in its EMS program. In August, changes were made to the response protocols and the manner in which fire crews are dispatched on medical emergencies.
