KENT—The Kent Volun teer Fire Department will celebrate Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week with a number of activities. The activities will conclude with an open house Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the firehouse at 28 Maple St.
Jamie Mott will graduate from Newton Fire/EMS’ rookie academy Friday. She is the first woman to graduate from the academy.
