Driver sought in Tuscarora hit and run Niagara Gazette Police said Jacobs was transported by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. Lewiston Police Sgt. Frank Previte said the driver of the vehicle fled westbound on Mount Hope Road following the incident.
