An Odessa woman was killed this morning in a single vehicle accident near Laughlin Air Force Base. The woman, whose name and age were withheld pending notification of next of kin, was ejected from the 2006 Chevrolet truck in which she was a passenger.

The Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) of Jackson County isn't the latest organization to receive a retired ambulance from Mercy Flights — that distinction goes to the National Park Service at Crater Lake, which received a vehicle from this Medford-based provider of air and ground ambulance services just days ago.

TWO RIVERS The Two Rivers Police Department is requesting people to remain off the ice after three boys were hospitalized after falling into the icy East Twin River Friday afternoon. Two were listed in critical condition after being transported to Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee by air ambulance.
