Qantas flight will fly home hundreds of Australians from Phuket tonight.

A federal report says worn-out landing gear lugs forced a JetBlue airliner to make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport three years ago. The National Transportation Safety Board issued a report recently about the September 2005 flight from Burbank's airport to New York. The report says two out of four anti-rotation lugs on the nose landing gear fractured and separated.
