One person was taken to the hospital by helicopter after a collision Saturday afternoon involving a nonemergency ambulance and at least one other vehicle on Highway 1 near Vandenberg Village.

Two children were transported to a hospital via air ambulance after their father lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a tree in northwest Harris County.

Shortly after 5:30 on Monday evening, as Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Evert Doucette was returning home from work, he came across a motor vehicle accident on SH 105 at CR 2234 that had occurred only minutes before.  He used the radio in his truck to contact Cleveland Police Department dispatchers and have Tarkington VFD and City of Cleveland EMS dispatched to the scene.  ...
